Welcome to the Nursing Detroit Pre-Apprenticeship Program! This 6-week summer work/training initiative is specifically designed to guide Detroit's youth, aged 16-24, as they navigate the vast landscape of healthcare career options. The program proudly operates under the banner of the Grow Detroit's Young Talent Program. Over a span of just 6 weeks, participants get an immersive introduction to the nursing profession, experiencing robust, in-person, hands-on training that brings theoretical concepts to life.

Furthermore, we take learning beyond the classroom. Trainees have the exclusive opportunity to embark on talent tours at esteemed local hospitals and nursing homes. This experience allows them a genuine and realistic perspective of the healthcare industry, setting the stage for informed career choices in the future.
