Mentorship in Healthcare

Mentorship is a relationship in which an experienced individual, the mentor, offers guidance, support, and knowledge transfer to a less experienced person, the mentee. In the world of healthcare, mentorship is invaluable. It's an opportunity for newer caregivers to learn from real-life experiences, gain insights into best practices, and navigate the intricacies of patient care with the guidance of someone who has walked the path before.

Nursing Detroit's Mentorship Program is more than just a learning experience—it's a journey of growth, collaboration, and empowerment. Join us in our mission to shape the future of healthcare in Detroit, one mentorship relationship at a time.

My Nurse Mentor®

We do this work in honor of our amazing friend, mentor, and sister. Rest well, Queen.

She is proficient and skilled in teaching all levels of medical-surgical nursing, leadership, nursing research, community nursing and facilitating capstone/preceptor courses.
